Their first single "The Other Night", which seems to be post-punk, with a indie flair, is available to download when you pre-order. 

New Releases: Haunt Me - "This Sadness Never Ends"

 

Three-piece Texan Haunt Me's debut album "This Sadness Never Ends" landed on the 8th October.

With paranormal themes, the Bandcamp description details that this album was written "while [the lead singer was] going through one of the darkest and saddest times of his life". 

If you enjoy bands such as Joy Division, New Order, The Cure, The Smiths, Bauhaus, Depeche Mode, Interpol and She Wants Revenge, you will enjoy this.

Catchy new post-punk/darkwave with influence from synth-pop all the way from Illinois, USA. If you're into your modern post-punk and darkwave, except with a little more oomph! you'll enjoy this.

New Releases: Blind Dreams - "Cold Morning"

 

Gloomy and catchy post-punk, born from the pandemic and delivered all the way from Russia.

Their debut album "Cold Morning" is available from Bandcamp for $1, though this release warrants a higher sum, in my opinion!

New Releases: Life Cult - "Life Cult"

 

Apologies for the lack of activity, however, life gets in the way sometimes!

But I'm not back with disappointment, as I have a real treat to show you today. 

Australian band "Life Cult" have released their self-titled debut EP "Life Cult" and it's not to be missed if you're a fan of classic bands like The Sisters of Mercy and Fields of the Nephilim. 

One song has only been released as of this date, and the full album is uploaded on the 16th October.

According to their Bandcamp page, they also have an upcoming show at Badlands Bar in Perth, WA on the same date as release. 

New Releases: 8i8 are back at it with their new single "Número Doce"

 

Independent Chilean post-punk artist 8i8 have released their new single "Número Doce" with promises of a new album coming on Halloween - fitting. 

Their debut album "Loop Machine", set at "Name Your Price", was uploaded to Bandcamp during July 2020 and features 10 catchy, bass heavy post-punk songs each with the duration, more or less, of around 2 minutes. 

If you like Molchat Doma, Ploho, or any band coming out of the Russian and Ukrainian post-punk/synth-pop scene then you're sure to like 8i8. 

The band has a YouTube, SoundCloud and dedicated Instagram page.

New Releases: Vision of the Void - "Promise of Escape"

 

Released on Bandcamp Friday, California goth-rockers Vision of the Void release their debut album "Promise of Escape". 

Would definitely recommend if you like your classic post-punk and goth rock bands, make sure not to pass this one up.

New Releases: Жертва Моды - "Я хочу, чтоб всегда была ночь"

 

Russian musician Жертва Моды (in English, according to Chrome's Google Translate add-on "Fashion Victim") has released "Я хочу, чтоб всегда была ночь" ("I wish there was always night") using a post-punk/goth rock instrumental, complimented by shrieking/growling vocals commonly found in black metal and other extreme genres of metal.

Overall, it's a really strong demo consisting of two songs totalling just under 8 minutes. Support them on Facebook.

If you like this musician, you will also like Spear of Teuta, who blends black metal with post-punk.

In late February, Italian goth-rockers released their single "You Don't Have Time" for free on Bandcamp.

Now, they blessed us with their debut EP "Nails" - it's refreshing all the while sounding like they stepped straight from the 80s.
